Furcation Mode

Furcation data can be entered at any time during an examination by either pressing Ctrl + F or pressing the Furcation button in the Probing Mode Toolbar. Furcations are entered with the center foot switch. A short press on the center foot switch enters 0 (it is not displayed on the screen); a longer press enters a 1; an even longer press enters a 2; a very long press on the center foot switch enters a 3. Furcations may be entered from the keyboard using 0-3.

To make a correction, hold down either side foot switch to enter the Moving Mode. You may reach a help dialog for the Furcation Mode by simultaneously holding down both side foot switches for two seconds.

On the monitor and graphical charts, the first level of furcation is represented by . The symbol for the second level is . The third level of furcation is symbolized by .
