Handpiece

The handpieces are light weight, white, autoclavable plastic with implant grade titanium tips. Older style handpieces were metal and blue in color. There are three handpieces:

Pocket Depth Probe:

Stent Handpiece:

Measures attachment levels from a stent mouthpiece.   The first visit serves only as a reference point for return visits.  When performing a visit, you may wish to do a verification pass to ensure reliable data. 

Disk Handpiece:

Measures attachment levels from the top of tooth. The first visit serves only as a reference point for return visits. When performing a visit, you may wish to do a verification pass to ensure reliable data.
