Plaque Mode
Plaque data can be entered at anytime during a periodontal
probing by either pressing Ctrl+P or pressing the Plaque
button from the Probing Mode Toolbar. Four sites per tooth
(buccal, lingual, and interproximals) are recorded for plaque, three are shown on the
buccal surface and one on the lingual surface. If no plaque is present, a short press on
the center foot switch advances the cursor without marking the site for plaque. A longer
press on the center foot switch indicates plaque and advances the cursor. Plaque can also
be recorded by pressing "P" on the keyboard.
To make a correction, hold down either side foot switch to enter the Moving Mode. You may reach a help dialog for the Plaque Mode by simultaneously holding down both side foot switches for two seconds.
